As an experienced Lead QA Manager, you will oversee testing processes within banking operations and collaborate closely with senior management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining the quality and reliability of the software applications through effective testing strategies and strong team leadership. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA testers and vendors, providing guidance on best practices, testing methodologies, and tools to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications. Oversee the execution of tests, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to timelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools. Prioritize issues for resolution and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
- Ensure that all testing activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies, maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and practices to enhance overall testing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on testing tools, processes, and best practices to foster a quality-centric culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proficient in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Familiarity with SQL and database testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experiences in developing a Testing Centre and overseeing vendor management would be an advantage.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
