My client is a MNC who is looking for a Production Merchandiser to cope with their business strategy. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibility of a Production Merchandiser is to ensure that the production of merchandise meets quality standards, adheres to timelines, and aligns with the company's overall merchandising strategy.

- Collaborate with the design, production, and sourcing teams to develop a comprehensive production plan.
- Identify and select appropriate vendors or manufacturers based on product requirements, quality standards, pricing, and capacity.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor their performance to ensure timely and quality production.
- Place purchase orders with vendors and closely monitor the production process to ensure on-time delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with the sourcing and finance teams to monitor production costs, negotiate pricing, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality standards.
- Develop and maintain production timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of key milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and prepare regular reports on production metrics, such as production costs, efficiency, and quality performance.
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail, fmcg, or consumer goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and sourcing practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proficient in using production management software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
