Job description

You will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects that enhance the insurance brokerage operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibility:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define project goals, and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and reporting on variances as needed.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements specific to the insurance industry.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes.
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • An efficient communicator who is excellent at presenting to senior executives while communicating effectively at the project team level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
