This leading Chinese Asset Management is looking for seasoned operations talent to lead their team overseeing all the operation matters including KYC, fund operation, settlement and the like. Great working culture and great remuneration package are provided.

As the VP, Operations in a Leading Chinese Asset Management Firm, your key responsibility will be to:
- Oversee daily fund operations and KYC process, including but not limited to provide client onboarding guidance, conduct risk disclosure to client & review relevant documents, open and/or maintaining accounts in local or global custodian
- Surveil and evaluate the performance (NAV) of external fund manager
- Surveil settlement status of cash activities and cash reconciliation
- Construct management report including portfolio performance report and key control metrics for senior management and head office as required
- Perform trust reconciliation and update SPC information
- Maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. custodian, trustees, fund administrators, IT vendors and legal counsels
- Provide support in assisting product team to compete the reporting materials
- Participate in UAT for any new system enhancement prior to production
- Assist in the implementation of new funds, process improvements and ad hoc projects
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Over 5 years of experience in asset management focusing on operations, covering KYC, fund operation, settlement and the like
- Possess product knowledge equity and fixed income
- Qualified to be registered as a licensed person (type 9) under SFC in asset management
- An in-depth knowledge and high proficiency in Excel are required
- Proactive, highly self-motivated, diligent, willingness to accept additional responsibilities and challenge
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin, English and Cantonese
