job scope.
As the VP, Product Management, Regulation & Policy focusing on structured products in a Leading Regional Private Bank, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Lead the full product lifecycle—from launch to post-launch oversight—ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and enforce product governance frameworks, maintaining rigorous compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
  • Conduct suitability and appropriateness reviews, ensuring investment solutions meet client risk profiles and market demands.
  • Spearhead product management strategy, including competitive analysis, pricing, profitability tracking, and lifecycle enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Sales) to drive system upgrades, digital transformation, and process automation.
  • Design and optimize sales and operational workflows, mitigating risks while improving efficiency.
  • Develop executive-level reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting and cost management for the investment product division.
requirements.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in investment product development/management, preferably in fixed income, structured products, or wealth solutions.
  • Deep expertise in regulatory compliance (e.g., HKMA, SFC, MAS guidelines) and product governance best practices.
  • Proven track record in project management, system implementations, and process reengineering.
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical prowess—ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Prior experience in private banking/wealth management is highly desirable.
