My client is a leading international insurance broker known for delivering tailored insurance solutions and exceptional client service. Committed to innovation and excellence, helping their clients navigate the complexities of the insurance landscape.

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Vice President to join their team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, managing key client relationships, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the insurance industry, and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional brokerage services to a designated portfolio of corporate accounts.
  • Develop strategies to meet growth objectives, create new business opportunities, and ensure client retention for the assigned portfolio.
  • Offer outstanding client service and address inquiries related to policy administration and insurance programs.
  • Lead the team in achieving budget and profit targets, while negotiating favourable terms and conditions with insurers for clients.
  • Oversee the negotiation, implementation, placement, and management of clients' insurance programs.
  • Foster relationships with clients and insurers, contribute to marketing initiatives, drive revenue growth, and seek out new business opportunities.
  • Host presentations and meetings with clients and underwriters.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on client management and strategic development.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the roles of Senior Manager
  • Good command of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
