Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in Life & Health insurance to drive process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance operations, project management methodologies, and a keen understanding of life and health insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects to improve operational workflows in Life & Health insurance (policy issuance, underwriting, claims, and member services).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, vendors, and IT, to maintain clear communication and alignment of user expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, claims teams, policy administration, finance, IT, and compliance to drive project success.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage organizational change across operational teams.
  • Strategize, manage, and implement change initiatives to facilitate seamless project deployment.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for operational improvements that support strategic objectives.
  • Support management in project governance, assess project outcomes, and provide recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Work closely with client service teams to improve policyholder and member interactions and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Act as the bridge between business units and technology teams for system enhancements and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent in information technology or related business disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the insurance or financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of Life & Health insurance products, underwriting processes, policy administration, and claims processing.
  • Ability to analyze operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to enhance business performance.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives involving workflow enhancements, customer experience improvements, or system upgrades.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
