job scope.
As the AVP, Lending Advisor in a Leading Chinese Private Bank, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Collaborate with the product management team to develop and enhance loan products tailored to client needs, assist in developing creative solutions for new client financings or restructurings within established credit and risk parameters.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the lending space.
  • Support business development efforts to grow the loan book by:
    • Participating in credit marketing initiatives for local market teams.
    • Understanding the capital structures of existing clients and prospects.
    • Identifying new business opportunities and asking for referrals.
  • Provide support during the loan/ credit application process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Monitor and analyze loan performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including private bankers and credit teams, to facilitate efficient loan processing.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to lending.
requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in private banking, particularly with loan or credit products
  • Familiarity with credit documentation and loan closing procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial analysis and the ability to identify credit opportunities and risks.
  • Ability to identify and analyze credit opportunities and the attendant credit risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
