Business Analyst – Insurance (Location: Kuala Lumpur)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with at least 5 years of expertise in analyzing, optimizing, and delivering business solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring seamless project execution and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Analyze sales and channel performance to uncover challenges, inefficiencies, and growth potential, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Research market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and gaps, proposing strategies for improved positioning and potential partnerships.
• Oversee operational processes for current programs, proactively addressing issues to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Evaluate and resolve process inefficiencies, implementing solutions to enhance workflow and offering constructive feedback for sustained improvement.
• Ensure service providers meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and uphold agreed service levels.
• Develop and manage comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to and lead ad-hoc projects, aligning outcomes with broader organizational objectives.
• Develop comprehensive business cases and feasibility studies to support proposed changes.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Design and optimize processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and operations.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.
• Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and process optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools and techniques is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
