This leading insurance broker is looking for seasoned compliance talent to join them due to business expansion. You will be joining a team of 3 reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance. Great exposure and great working culture will be provided.

job scope.
As the Compliance Manager in a insurance broker, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Review, maintain and implement up-to-date compliance policies and manuals on Data Privacy, Complaints Handling, Cross Border etc
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide advice and review on compliance issues in relation to AML/CTF, establish compliance controls and perform KYC/ CDD/ AML review and monitoring;
  • Liaise with relevant departments to resolve day-to-day compliance issues in relation to AML/CTF and provide compliance advices to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaise with the relevant departments to prepare the information/materials/reports requests by the regulators IA and auditor
  • Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
  • Participate in and handle ad hoc projects assigned
requirements.
  • Degree or above with major in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance within the insurance/ insurance broker industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards, Knowledge in SG MAS Broker requirements is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
