As an Wintel System Administrator, you will provide Level 3 IT technical support to all internal staff and fee earners within the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows and Intel-based systems, ensuring their optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role demands a thorough understanding of Windows environments, virtualization technologies, system administration best practices, and expertise in managing Microsoft Exchange and Entra ID.

About You:
- Manage and maintain Windows servers and Intel-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other related products.
- Designs, deploys, manages and serves as primary expert for the multi-forest Microsoft Active Directory environment, Entra ID and Active Directory Federation Services.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers, ensuring email system reliability and security.
- Manages, supports and troubleshoots DNS services, Certificate services and Microsoft License Key Management.
- Creates and manages directory infrastructure, including FSMO rules, trusts, and replication technology.
- Manages forests and domains including planning and designing Organization Units (OUs).
- Configures and manages Active Directory sites, subnets, and global catalog.
- Manages, migrates, upgrades, demotes and decommissions domain controllers.
- Oversees, manages and troubleshoots Active Directory authentication and LDAP configuration.
- Seeks and recommends improvements to the existing Active Directory.
- Administers and troubleshoots Group Policy.
- Creates and executes Powershell scripts to configure objects and Group Policy.
- Utilizing the Change Management process, applies changes and upgrades to the Active Directory environment.
- Ensures overall security of the Active Directory domains.
- Coordinates within functional and cross-functional teams to apply expertise in solving problems, growing capabilities and driving initiatives.
- Provides best practice advice and guidance to management and across the enterprise.
- Participates in disaster planning, preparation, recovery, and testing as required.
- Act as an SME for Windows Operating Systems, working with operations team to generate and update Windows templates, reviewing hardening guidelines and support in incident troubleshooting.
- Manage interactions with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoots issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
- Provides after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
- 3+ years of strong experience with Active Directory and DNS in a large enterprise level environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or similar are a plus
- Proficiency in Windows tools and technologies like Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Hyper-V, and SCCM.
- Good understanding Active directory architecture and Azure Entra ID
- Experience working with an on-prem environment that is synced to the cloud
- Experience building and Active Directory administration
- Comfortable owning all active directory functions
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Demonstrated enterprise Active Directory/Domain Controller set up, configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with backup / restoration tool for Active Director (AD).
- Candidates with Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator) will be advantageous.
