About the Role:
- Our esteemed client is seeking a General Manager in France to oversee the budgets, licensing initiatives, and operations of their local business units. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the overall strategy, establishing strategic partnerships, and ensuring efficient operations. Collaborating closely with other departments within the organization, you will play a pivotal role in successfully introducing and advancing their innovative products and services in the region
- The ideal candidate will be an influential leader and a decisive decision-maker, empowering teams, driving revenue growth, and establishing a strong market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust growth strategy for the French market, encompassing licensing strategies and end-to-end product delivery.
- Drive market entry strategies, including securing the necessary regulatory licenses for our client to launch their comprehensive range of products and services.
- Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure full adherence to local regulatory requirements and seamless product implementation in France.
- Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities, maintain competitiveness, and develop strategies that position our client as a market leader.
- Foster and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, such as banks, regulators, and strategic commercial partners in France, while navigating the dynamic landscape of evolving regulations.
- Generate innovative product ideas and spearhead the development of tailored features and benefits for distinct target segments.
- Ensure close alignment of products with business objectives, while prioritizing exceptional customer and employee experiences, and contribute to expanding market share, enhancing customer retention, and driving profitability.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in the local market environment, including a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with banking operations and a proven ability to establish and maintain key relationships, including expertise in fiat on-ramp and off-ramp processes within the market.
- Comprehensive understanding and appreciation of digital assets and their treatment within the local market, including awareness of recent regulatory developments.
- Proficiency in the entire Product Development Life Cycle, encompassing strategy formulation and flawless execution.
- Experience in successfully obtaining regulatory licenses related to digital asset spot trading, derivatives, and margin lending.
- Strong business acumen in the market, with a keen awareness of digital asset trends and the evolving payment landscape.
