Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the finance accounting and group reporting team to ensure effective operations and the timely delivery of all financial reports.
- Financial Review: Evaluate financial statements and related reports for accuracy and compliance with both local and international accounting standards, including IFRS.
- Audit Management: Oversee the annual audit process, collaborating closely with external auditors to ensure a seamless process and adherence to compliance standards.
- Policy and Process Optimization: Create and refine financial policies and operational procedures to improve efficiency and maintain compliance within financial management.
- Strategic Analysis: Deliver comprehensive financial analyses and strategic insights to senior management, aiding in financial decision-making and business growth.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead efforts to enhance the finance accounting function, focusing on operational efficiency through process improvements and technological advancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure financial operations align with business objectives and contribute to overall organizational goals.
- Tax Compliance Oversight: Manage tax compliance activities, ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time while effectively mitigating tax risks.
- General Ledger Oversight: Assume full responsibility for managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and consistency in financial records.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in finance accounting and reporting, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role demonstrating strong management abilities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations, along with familiarity with global financial compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting detailed analyses of complex financial matters and recommending effective solutions.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams through effective mentorship and management.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for efficient collaboration with cross-departmental and international teams.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
