Job description

Role Summary: Lead and develop strategies for talent development within agency channels. To deploy talent development strategy and oversee functions including Distribution Training. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Devise strategies for Distribution Training and Development and Brighter Academy to meet business targets.
    • Establish capability and performance standards for agency channels.
    • Provide input into the broader distribution strategy.
  2. Talent Development:
    • Create advanced training programs for onboarding and developing agency and partnership teams.
    • Manage e-learning and onboarding platforms.
    • Initiate projects to enhance productivity.
    • Represent agency on product training and development.
  3. Team Management:
    • Build and maintain a high-performing team.
    • Ensure team development and proper succession planning.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder or above.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in insurance or banking, with 5 years at a managerial level.
  • FLMI holder preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and creative mindset.
  • Ability to engage and retain key team members.
  • Sound knowledge of agency operations.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Ability to work under high pressure.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
