As an Front Office Developer, you will build and deliver solutions to meet trading desk requirements that mitigate issues and/or improve the efficiency of the traders on trading desks. You will be covering trading desks across Derivatives, Equities, and Fixed Income business lines.

Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day engagement with business stakeholders to understand their issues and requirements to drive greater efficiency in their day-to-day operations
- Working closely with stakeholders across IT and the FO to make sure they deliver appropriate, maintainable, and supportable solutions according to agreed priorities
- Taking full ownership of the solutions delivered and responsibility for their stable, effective, and efficient running
- Line management of a more junior member of the team
- Managing team capacity to meet demand from the FO stakeholders and projects where necessary
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Python development for enterprise-level solutions, with a demonstrated track record of creating robust, maintainable, and scalable Python code.
- A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in numerical/pricing analytics a plus
- Experience configuring and programming IMAGINE, or similar platforms to do pricing, trading, and processing of derivative products.
- Entrepreneurial drive, showcasing your ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Broad and deep experience in the different activities within the Front Office for Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives business lines
- Rapid and iterative delivery for the Front Office
- Development experience across Python (additionally C# although not essential) and SQL
- Experience mentoring and managing developers to advance their capabilities and skills in the delivery of robust, scalable, and flexible solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with full proficiency in English nad Chinese for business-related communication (both written and verbal)
- Experience in IMAGINE.
- Familiarity with derivative risk concepts, including option pricing and Greek risk measures, preferably in the Commodities domain.
- Some exposure to PL/SQL (preferred) or a smilar procedural database programming language (e.g., T-SQL).
