Job description

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee and mentor the development team, ensuring robust support for the systems across Asia-Pacific and driving innovative solutions to meet growing demands.
This role is ideal for an experienced leader passionate about driving technical excellence and fostering team growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose effective IT solutions.
  • Architect, design, and implement systems using appropriate development frameworks.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
  • Supervise and mentor the development team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee business-as-usual (BAU) support to maintain system reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and manage change implementations.
  • Partner with infrastructure teams to design architecture, ensure security, and maintain IT compliance.
  • Manage deployment processes and provide ongoing technical support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in application development, proficient in Java, PHP, and .Net.
  • Recent hands-on programming expertise, capable of guiding and resolving developer challenges.
  • Strong experience with MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency with M365 development tools, including Teams and SharePoint Online.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial insurance brokerage, reinsurance, and risk management processes.
  • Familiarity with Ebix eGlobal or comparable systems is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
