  • Strategic Planning: Adopt a forward-looking approach to anticipate lead times and potential shifts in partnership operations.
  • Visibility and Reporting: Act as a high-visibility figure to leadership, ensuring successful market entry and growth in strategic areas.
What We Look For:
  • Experience: 5+ years in business development and relationship management, especially with US banks; experience with payment providers is a plus.
  • Networking Skills: Exceptional ability to network, with strong sales and relationship management skills.
  • Executive Connections: Robust connections within tier 1 and 2 banks, particularly with decision-makers in digital asset banking.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory, risk, political, and infrastructure challenges related to digital assets, payments, and custody.
  • Institutional Experience: Significant background in electronic trading and banking roles (private, corporate, operational, custodial).
  • Fiat Rail Knowledge: Strong grasp of on- and off-shore fiat on- and off-ramps and payment systems in the US (ACH, Wire, SWIFT).
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to bridge business, strategy, and product interests, ensuring effective onboarding and operationalization of partners.
  • Partnership Management: Experience in strategic procurement and partnership management with traditional financial institutions in regulated markets.
  • Promotional Track Record: History of internal promotions based on strong performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience collaborating with leadership in product, compliance, risk, finance, and legal areas.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel frequently to foster in-person business relationships.
  • Empathy and Insight: Capability to understand counterparties' goals and leverage relationships to create compelling narratives.
