About the role
As a System Analyst for a bank with a focus on Treasury systems, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions to meet the bank’s Treasury system requirements. You will work closely with the IT team and developers to ensure that the software is implemented correctly and meets the bank’s needs. You will also be responsible for documenting the system requirements and interfaces between new and legacy systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in Java and Murex. You should be able to analyze and evaluate current systems, identify system requirements, and track additional requirements and features by engaging with users. You should also have hands-on experience with software development and documentation, solid knowledge of business information systems, and familiarity with programming languages.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions.
- Work closely with product vendors to analyze change request, review system design, ensure compliance to technology architecture standards, software defect resolution and system deployment.
- Develop programs and scripts
- Provide support to SIT and UAT, investigate and resolve technical issues reported in projects.
- Provide support to system and performance management, application vulnerability management and control, software release management.
- Plan and commission production system implementation.
- Develop technical documents and other System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile documents.
- Proven experience in supporting system Treasury system (e.g Murex, Summit) Development on various Murex modules.
- Good understanding of Murex modules
- Strong knowledge and working experience with an Object Oriented Programming language such as Java/ .Net. Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Python is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database with strong PL/SQL scripting skills and ability to write performant SQLs. Knowledge of Postgres is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of technologies such as Terraform, Ansible is desirable.
- Experience with working in DevOps and Agile frameworks.
- Experience working with AWS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Test Driven Development and adhere to best practices.
- Good understanding of architectural principles, multi-threaded applications and STP processing.
- Excellent team player.
- Highly pragmatic and delivery-focused, with positive can-do attitude.
- Takes ownership for delivery and is a self-starter.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
